1 cup (110g) almond meal
1 2/3 cups (250g) icing sugar
1/2 cup (75g) plain flour
1/4 cup (30g) cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
zest from 1 orange
5 egg whites
200g melted butter , melted
1. Preheat oven to 160c
2 Place the almond meal in a mixing bowl and sift the other dry
ingredients into the bowl
stir to combine
3. Add the egg whites and orange zest to the mixture and stir to
continue
4. Add the melted butter and stir to combine
5. Grease 12 friand tins or alternativley use 12 x 1/2 cup muffin
tins
6. Spoon the mixture and bake for 15 mins or until spingy to
